Is Your Grass Getting Crunchy? The Latest On When We Will Get Rain

(Image 1)

Our last rain was Sunday, a week ago.  Remember the lightning show that night?

As of Wednesday, we have gone 10 days without rain, and July ended 1.26″ below normal in Nashville, and 3.17″ below normal in Clarksville.

The good news is that rain chances will pick up towards the end of the week.  I guess the bad news for folks with weekend plans is the higher rain chances will extend into Saturday.

Right now I’d put those chances as such:

Thursday: 30% afternoon t’showers

Friday: 50-60% T’showers anytime of day, slacking off in the evening.

Saturday: 50-60% T’showers anytime of day, slacking off in the evening. That would bode well for the Titans game at L.P. Field.

Sunday:  30% T’showers, mostly in south Middle Tennessee.
