Interstate 65 South was shut down for several hours Tuesday morning in Robertson County after multiple crashes.
The first accident happened around 4:30 a.m. when a box truck hauling go-karts overturned at Bethel Road in Millersville.
There were no injuries reported in that incident, but News 2 confirmed that two other wrecks injured a total of three people who were all transported with non-life threatening injuries.
The second crash occurred just north of the box truck accident at mile marker 104.5. A vehicle and tractor trailer collided causing extensive damage to the car.
Lastly, a pin-in wreck occurred at mile marker 105.
Traffic was diverted onto Bethel Road and Highway 31. It was more congested than usual due to school being back in session.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation expects Interstate 65 to completely reopen just before 11 a.m.
