A unique session captured by an Alabama photographer is now gaining national attention.
Several months ago Jan and Chase Renegar decided to have their good friend photographer Jamie Clauss mimic a newborn family photo but with the couple’s rescue dog, Snuggles instead of an infant, the Huntsville Times reported.
Prior to the photo-shoot, which the couple said was “tongue-in-cheek” the pair took Snuggles on a long walk so she would be calm and relaxed.
“We were very intentional about what we wanted out of this session,” Jan Renegar told the newspaper.
The Renegars adopted Snuggles, a Jack Russell terrier six years ago.
Clauss, of Count It Joy Photography, said despite the success of the photographs she does not plan to continue doing dog newborn photographs.
