A large historic house in the Music Row area was damaged by fire early Saturday morning.
The fire started at 1 a.m. at a home on Music Square West.
The flames spread throughout the home and into the attic. It took firefighters more than two hours to put out the blaze.
According to investigators, a few homeless people were seen outside the home, but it is unclear if they were inside when the fire started.
Officials told News 2 the building was abandoned and had recently been used as an office.
