Cheatham County authorities, along with the state fire and arson squad, are now looking into whether the fires are connected and if so, who is responsible.

The fire at The V appears to have started in a rear storage unit. Two apartments located directly above were also destroyed in the massive blaze.

Those living in the apartments told News 2 the fire was so hot the floor was bubbling. They had just minutes to get out of their homes.

Stacey Blood and Laurie Ann Layne of the Nashville rock duo The Bloody Nerve lived in one of the units and lost everything they owned.  A GoFundMe account as been set up to help the couple rebuild their lives.
