Titans quarterback Jake Locker took the field at Battle Ground Academy Wednesday to host the 3rd annual Jake Locker Football Pro Camp.
Kids from first to eighth grade took part in the three and a half hour camp that taught the fundamentals of football.
All of the participants received an autograph from the Titans quarterback as well as a team picture.
It’s one of Locker’s favorite events before the Titans begin their regular season training camp.
“It’s one of the highlights of my year,” Locker said. “You get to go out and remember what it’s like to be five and six years old again, playing this game.”
He said there’s so much joy the kids have being out there for three or four hours.
“And to have that opportunity, to come out and kind of experience that with the kids, I get to run around and do the drills with them, makes me feel like I’m young again,” Locker explained, “and I love that. That’s my favorite part.”
Locker and the Titans report to training camp this Friday.
