The first-place Nashville Sounds beat the Colorado Springs Sky Sox 5-2 Wednesday night at Greer Stadium.

It was highlighted by a four-run 6th inning featuring Pete Orr’s pinch-hit home run.

Starting pitcher Ariel Pena (7-6) held the Sky Sox scoreless through his first five frames and was able to pick up the win despite giving the Sky Sox a 1 run lead in the 6th. Pena struck out 6 batters and had no walks.

The Sounds look to win the series against Colorado Springs on Thursday at Greer Stadium.

PCL All-Star RHP Mike Fiers (7-5, 2.68) will make the start for Nashville.
