Metro police have arrested the gunman wanted for an apparent drug-related shooting outside the Madison Walmart on July 10.
The victim, O’Bryan Williams, was shot multiple times during an argument with Cager Waggoner, police said.
According to an affidavit obtained by News 2, Waggoner and Williams disagreed on the price of some drugs during the exchange.
That’s when Waggoner, 25, grabbed a gun from underneath the passenger seat. The two wrestled over the gun, but the gun fired multiple times.
Williams was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Waggoner is in the Metro jail, charged with attempted criminal homicide. His bond has been set at $250,000.
