A 17-year-old boy from Louisiana disappeared Sunday in the dangerous surf in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Authorities began searching for Chaston Brown about 4 p.m., WKRG-TV reported. The search was suspended after three hours due to the rough surf.
On Monday, a dive team spent time searching Brown.
Currently there is a high risk of rip currents off the Alabama coast. Double red flags have been raised to warn swimmers to stay out of the water.
