Metro police have identified the gunman wanted for an apparent drug-related shooting outside the Madison Walmart earlier this month.

O’Bryan Williams, 29, of Gallatin, was shot several times on the evening of July 10 in the parking lot of the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Gallatin Pike North.

Metro police said Williams argued with Cager Waggoner IV before Waggoner, 25, opened fire.

Waggoner, a convicted cocaine felon, is now sought for attempted murder.

Anyone with information on Waggoner’s whereabouts is urged to call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.

Waggoner was convicted of felony cocaine possession in January 2013. He received an 8 year probated sentence.

Police recovered a bag of marijuana at the scene of the shooting.
