The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation obtained indictments against a former Nolensville police officer who is accused of misconduct involving a minor.

During their investigation, which began in April 2013, it was discovered Charles Terry solicited and received inappropriate images of a minor female on his cell phone.

After being interviewed by the TBI and FBI, authorities learned Terry attempted to have the minor’s cell phone destroyed so the text messages and images could not be collected as evidence.

Terry resigned from his position with the Nolensville Police Department on May 16, 2013.

He is charged with one count of official misconduct and one count of solicitation of tampering with evidence.

Terry has since been released from the Williamson County jail on a $5,000 bond.
