The Tennessee Volunteers incoming freshman class boasts six players who are legacies.

Whether they had an uncle, father or brother come to Knoxville, Butch Jones has always stressed the importance of keeping Tennessee a family.

The message seems to have rubbed off on the new recruits.

Neiko Creamer’s dad played at UT in the 80s.

He said, “We’re already traveling down a path to become the old Tennessee as Knoxville people would say, the old Tennessee, the good old days. We’re already headed towards that. I just think we’re a catalyst of that. We add extra insight just by adding the tradition and the legacy to the class cause that’s what fueled Tennessee in the past, legacy.”

The Vols six legacy players have their first camp July 31.
