A man already a suspect in an aggravated assault case was arrested on other charges in Nashville early Saturday morning.
According to an affidavit, police discovered Grady Sartain’s vehicle swerving on Welshwood Drive.
When authorities approached the vehicle, Sartain allegedly attempted to leave the scene on foot.
After quickly catching the suspect, police were unable to perform a field sobriety test because of Sartain’s alleged alcohol intake.
His previous assault charges involved threatening a man with a box cutter and allegedly attempting to hit a former girlfriend with his car.
Sartain was charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest, DUI, driving with a revoked license and implied consent.
He was booked into the Davidson County jail on $85,000 bond.
