An 11-year-old girl who was critically injured in a four-vehicle crash last week has died from her injuries.

Alysia Johnson of Clarksville was a passenger in the back seat of a Ford Explorer when the vehicle was struck from behind by 70-year-old William Miller.

She died Tuesday evening at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Police said the cause of the accident was caused by Miller’s inattentiveness to the roadway.

Drugs or alcohol did not play a factor in the fatal crash. Charges have not been filed against Miller.
