The Nashville Predators signed 11th overall pick, Kevin Fiala, to a three-year entry-level contract Tuesday.

The 17-year-old was a finalist for the 2013 Swedish Hockey League Rookie of the Year Award after tying for the lead in points among all under-18 SKL players with 11 (3g,8a) in 17 games for HV71.

Fiala is from St. Gallen, Switzerland, and in 2014 he represented his country at the World Junior Championship, Under-18 Championship and World Championship. He is just the third player to compete in all three tournaments in the same year.
