Five protestors were arrested for trespassing at the Omni Nashville Hotel Saturday.
Officials told News 2 the group was given a predetermined location to demonstrate, but they refused to comply.
They were arrested at 12:06 p.m. when they tried to gain entry into the hotel.
The five protesters were transported to the Metro Nashville Jail and charged with trespassing. The Judicial Commissioner later refused to sign the warrants and the individuals were released.
The group was protesting several issues including the deportation of illegal immigrants and private prisons.
