A semi-driver sustained minor injuries after he slammed into an abandoned store in Clarksville Tuesday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the driver of a tractor trailer, who was traveling east on State Route 149 was attempting to pass vehicles on the roadway and blowing the horn just before 2 p.m.
The semi then t-boned a Chevy Trailblazer at the intersection of state routes 149 and 148 before turning into a parking lot and partially striking an abandoned building.
The driver of the tractor trailer, identified as 29-year-old Nicholas Clenin of New Mexico and the 21-year-old SUV driver were injured and transported to a local hospital.
