A mother and her four children are displaced after a fire broke out at their Maury County home early Tuesday morning.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Adams Avenue.
Crews reported upon their arrival flames were coming out of the front of the home and the roof.
The middle of the house sustained fire damage. The rest of the residence sustained smoke damage.
The woman and her children were not home when the fire started.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
