A woman was arrested early Monday morning in south Nashville after police say she was driving while intoxicated with her two young children in the car.
Erin Holiman’s boyfriend called police stating he was following the woman who was swerving all over the roadway.
Police made contact with Holiman after she pulled over in a parking lot on Lebanon Pike.
Upon approaching her, officers reported a strong smell of alcohol and that Holiman had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Her two children, ages two and seven, were inside the car.
Holiman was taken into custody after she performed poorly on a sobriety test.
Police said she does not have any prior DUI convictions.
