Officials have launched an investigation after a home in Cross Plains caught fire twice in less than a week.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 3900 block of Baggett Road on July 1 at 4:30 a.m. and July 3 and 10:21 p.m.

The first fire was in the laundry room and the second was in the kitchen.

The home was left with minor smoke damage and some cabinets were burned.

It has been taped off while officials investigate.
