The Nashville Predators have signed defense man Joe Piskula to a one-year, two-way contract.
The deal is worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $150,000 at the AHL level.
Piskula played in two games for the Predators last season.
He spent most of the season with the Predators’ AHL affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals.
He posted 23 points (3g, 20a), 56 penalty minutes and a +20 rating in 73 games.
The Predators acquired Piskula from the Flames organization in 2013.
He has appeared in 466 AHL games in seven seasons and has notched 97 points (12g, 85a) along with 391 penalty minutes.
