The struggles continue for the Nashville Sounds as they fell 5-1 Tuesday afternoon in Salt Lake City.
Starting pitcher Johnnie Lowe did not make it out of the first inning for Nashville giving up four runs on four hits in only two-thirds of an inning.
Nashville’s only bright spot came from Caleb Gindl at the plate. Gindl went three for four with a triple that plated Nashville’s only run of the game.
The Sounds are off Wednesday before returning to start another homestand Thursday at Greer Stadium against New Orleans.
