A nine-year-old Wisconsin boy and his four-year-old passenger went on a joy-ride in an effort to go to their grandmother’s home.

It happened Saturday in Washington County, Wisconsin when the two boys found a red Grand Am with the keys inside and took off.

The boy, who could barely see over the wheel, was swerving back and forth in lanes down a 35-mile-per-hour road going twice as fast, ABC News reported.

Other drivers on the road called 911 reporting the reckless and underage driver.

After about four miles of driving, a teenager was able to pull his car next to the Grand Am slowing it to a stop.

The boy told investigators he was trying to get to his grandma’s house.

Police said no charges will be filed and they’re just glad no one was hurt.
