An Antioch woman has been indicted for abusing an impaired adult she cared for.

The victim, 47, suffers from a developmental disability.  Tito Talabi, 26, cared for her when she worked at Support Solutions in Nashville.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, during an incident on April 17, the victim suffered minor injuries and bruising.

“The bottom line message is we’re not going to tolerate this in the state of Tennessee and we shouldn’t tolerate this; these are our state’s most vulnerable residents they deserve quality care every single day and we want to do our part to make sure that those who don’t provide quality care are held accountable,” said TBI spokesman Josh Devine.

Talabi, 26, was indicted on one count of abuse of an impaired adult last week.

She was arrested Monday afternoon and booked into the Metro jail, where she was released after posting $7,500 bond.

“She {Talabi} was hired by Support Solutions and she went through all the background checks came back and everything was okay,” said Trudy Hicks a Regional Program Director for Support Solutions.

Talabi quit her job at Support Solutions after the alleged incident.
