A Clarksville man was arrested Monday afternoon after he led Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase and crashed into a patrol car.
According to the sheriff’s office, the chase started on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and ended on Fort Campbell Boulevard where Dustin Roby was taken into custody on multiple felony warrants.
Roby, 30, ran several vehicles off the road, drove into oncoming traffic and went through the median, deputies said.
Deputy Rory Kennedy attempted to box Roby in to prevent him from driving through a busy intersection and harming motorists.
At that time, Roby collided with Kennedy’s patrol car.
No one was injured during the pursuit.
Roby was charged with numerous counts of evading arrest, drug possession and reckless endangerment.
He was also wanted in another state.
His bond was set at $396,000.
