A candlelight vigil was held Wednesday night for a 20-year-old Tennessee woman battling brain cancer.

The vigil for Morgan Hutcherson took place in front of her family’s Cottontown home at 125 Biggs Road from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A family spokesperson told News 2 Morgan came down with pneumonia and was in and out of consciousness Wednesday.

“She was not responsive earlier today, but she is now, and she knows that all these people are here right now and very thankful, and feeling very blessed,” Morgan’s aunt Kristi Alexander told News 2.

Morgan was told she had 12 to 18 months to live in March of 2013 after being diagnosed with glioblastoma.
