A woman was charged with 26 counts of prescription fraud following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Authorities said they began looking into Lauren Moon on May 6, 2013 after allegations came to light she was fraudulently obtaining prescription drugs.
During the investigation, agents learned Moon was obtaining prescriptions from seven different doctors and used five different pharmacies to fill them.
Moon was finally indicted on May 20 with 26 counts of prescription fraud.
The 30-year-old, who is from Fayetteville, turned herself in to the Lincoln County jail last Friday.
She was soon released on $10,000 bond.
