A man died after somehow losing control of his car and crashing in Clarksville early Sunday morning.
Donnie Hodges, 61, was reportedly driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado on Ted Crozier Boulevard around 2:10 a.m. when the accident happened.
Authorities said his vehicle left the roadway and struck a stop sign, which then caused him to slam in a guardrail. His vehicle flipped upon impact.
A passerby noticed the crash while driving through the area and called police.
Once they arrived, Hodges was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators noted that he was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident took place.
The crash is still under investigation. Further details were not immediately released.
