A Franklin man was arrested after police said he fired a gun during an argument Wednesday.
Authorities received a call at 3:55 p.m. about shots being fired at Jewell’s Market on 1421 West Main Street in Franklin.
Three suspects fled in a maroon SUV before officers arrived.
With the help of witnesses, authorities found a discarded gun in a yard in the nearby Rolling Meadows subdivision.
The weapon was taken during a 2011 home burglary.
Officers later found the three men on foot and took them into custody.
Cory Johnson, 21, of Franklin, was identified as the shooter, according to police.
He was charged with theft, reckless endangerment and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Johnson is free on $3,000 bond and is due in court on June 19.
