A candidate vying to be the next sheriff of Rutherford County has filed a police report because some of his campaign signs have been stolen.
Dale Armour told authorities several yard signs were removed since the middle of May.
According to the report, campaign signs were taken from Franklin Road, Broad Street, Mercury Boulevard, Fortress Boulevard, Rutherford Boulevard, Bradyville Pike and Thompson Lane.
Armour told police some of the signs were stolen and placed in different yards.
Others have not been recovered.
Armour is running against current Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold.
