Authorities swarmed a home in La Vergne Wednesday morning to execute a drug-related search warrant.

Local police and SWAT teams arrived to the residence in the 300 block of Clearlake Drive around 6 a.m.

Officials told News 2 they have been building a case on the home for a month and it ultimately led to Wednesday’s raid.

In order to gain entry, the SWAT team deployed several distraction devices. The devices created a loud bang.

When News 2 got to the scene, three people were sitting on the curb in handcuffs surrounded by SWAT team members and a fourth was in a police car.

After the raid, two people were charged.

Josh White is facing charges for felony possession of schedule six drugs, maintaining a dwelling to facilitate the sale of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said he had a criminal history dating back to 2010.

His father, Harold, was charged with three counts of theft for possessing stolen guns.

No one was hurt during the raid.
