A 29-year-old man has been charged after surrendering himself to Metro police in connection to a fatal north Nashville shooting.
Bruce Moore, of 26th Avenue North, turned himself in Sunday afternoon after he learned detectives were searching for him.
Arrest warrants were issued earlier Sunday accusing Moore of criminal homicide, attempted aggravated robbery and unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon in the murder of 36-year-old Michael Weaver.
Weaver was shot after Moore allegedly got into the back of the vehicle he was riding in and demanded cash on May 24.
He was driven to Skyline Medical Center where he died shortly after.
Moore was convicted of possessing cocaine for resale in 2008 and received a four-year probated sentence at the time.
He is currently jailed on $500,000.
