MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – The owner of a local market in Mt. Juliet was held at gunpoint during a robbery Monday evening and police are still looking for the suspects.
Officers responded around 6:10 p.m. at Nick’s Market on Lebanon Road after an employee hit an emergency alarm button.
Surveillance video captured two men participating in the robbery and a third driving a getaway car.
A police release stated one suspect brandished a black handgun with a laser and demanded cash from the register.
All three suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured during the incident.
The first suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a muscular build. He was wearing a yellow t-shirt and blue jeans, with long dread-style hair that was in a ponytail.
The second suspect was also described as a black male around the same age with a heavy-set build. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and blue jeans, and had short buzzed hair.
Surveillance video shows the getaway vehicle appears to be a dark-colored Buick Rendezvous.
