Residents in Lebanon lost power early Monday morning after an equipment failure at a substation.

News 2 started getting reports of the outage around 1:30 a.m.

The outage map for Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corp. showed around 6,000 people without power.

MTEMC spokesman Josh Clendenen said crews were at the Lebanon substation working to repair the problem, and had power restored around 2:20 a.m.
