Oregon, Clemson & Xavier join Commodores at Nashville Regional

The Vanderbilt Commodores are not one of the top eight seeds in the NCAA Baseball Tournament.  

If the ‘Dores escape their regional they will advance to play at the Bloomington Super Regional, unless host Indiana falls.

The Commodores (41-18) open up with Xavier (29-27)  Friday  at 7 p.m.  Fourth seeded Xavier earned its bid after winning the Big East Tournament.
Oregon (42-18) the No. 2 seed will play the No. 3 seed Clemson (36-23) to open up the double-elimination regional at noon on Friday.
Tennessee, Tennessee Tech and Lipscomb were all bubble teams who did not earn a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament.
