Sounds fall to Omaha 4-1

The Nashville Sounds struck out 13 times falling to Omaha 4-1 Tuesday afternoon in Nashville.

Sean Halton gave the Sounds a 1-0 lead in the first with an RBI single, but that was it offensively.

Omaha took the lead in the 4th inning on a two-out double by matt Fields off of Sounds starter Ariel Pena.

Pena took the loss (2-4) on his 25th birthday giving up two runs on four hits in six innings.

The Sounds and Storm Chasers play a doubleheader Wednesday at Greer Stadium. The first of the two seven inning games starts at 6:05 PM.
