Sounds rally for 5-4 win over Omaha

Kevin Mattison belted a walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth as the Nashville Sounds beat Omaha 5-4 Monday at Greer Stadium.

It was the second last at bat win of the season for the (24-20) first place Sounds.

The Storm Chasers raced out to a 3-0 lead against Nashville starter Brad Mills with a three-run third inning that included a solo homer by Melky Mora.

Nashville to a 4-3 lead in the 6th inning on a two-run double by third baseman Taylor Greene.

The Sounds and Omaha meet again Tuesday at 11 a.m.
