Franklin motorcyclist hospitalized after hit-and-run

A Franklin motorcyclist who was involved in a hit-and-run Tuesday remains hospitalized for his injuries.

According to Franklin police, the 67-year-old man was struck by a white SUV while he was waiting to make a left turn on West Main Street near Brookwood Avenue around 4:45 p.m.

The driver of the SUV fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital with a fractured pelvis and bleeding on his brain.
