Metro police arrested three people in connection to a drug trafficking ring near Antioch Middle School.
Miguel Cortez, 36, Josue Santos-Diaz, 34, and Stephanie Diaz, 24, were arrested Friday afternoon.
Police took Cortez into custody after they reportedly caught him delivering four kilos of cocaine less than a thousand feet from Antioch Middle School.
They arrested the other two at a nearby home on Hickory Hollow Parkway.
Upon searching the house, officials found 150 pounds of marijuana, one pound of meth and four kilos of cocaine.
The suspects were charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free school zone with the intent to sell.
Cortez and Santos-Diaz are behind bars on $100,000 bond, while Diaz’s bond was set at $50,000.
