Nashville police arrested a woman Tuesday for running over another woman with her car.
According to an affidavit, Belinda Cockrill ran over the victim after a verbal altercation.
The victim, who tried to walk away during the fight, suffered a compound fracture to her lower leg.
Cockrill, 49, was arrested in a nearby parking lot.
The arresting officer reported she smelled of alcohol. A crack pipe was also found in her purse.
A witness told police Cockrill was driving so fast she was able to drive over a manhole that was about a foot off the ground and still have enough speed to continue up a grassy hill.
Cockrill was booked into the Metro jail on $62,000 bond.
She faces charges of aggravated assault, DUI, driving on a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
