Happy Tales, the state’s first no-kill animal shelter, announced they have found a new, permanent location in Williamson County.
The announcement comes six months after the organization learned it was being forced out of their space at The Factory in Franklin.
The new location at 4001 Hughes Crossing, Suite 109, in the Berry Farms community will offer more than 3,000 square feet of space for animals in need of forever homes and other services.
“We’ll be able to do intakes, do the adoption,” Debbi Cure with Happy Tales said. “It will be nice for us to have a larger place where we can work with the animals before we place them into a foster home.”
Happy Tales hopes to be in the new facility by the fall.
