A man is nowhere to be found after crashing his car into a north Nashville golf course Friday morning.
Officers responded to the Ted Rhodes Golf Course, not far from Tennessee State University, on Ed Temple Boulevard around 4:40 a.m.
They found a car on its side with serious front-end damage after it crashed through a fence and flipped.
The driver, however, was nowhere to be found.
Officials told News 2 the driver’s girlfriend, who owns the car, received a call from the driver. He allegedly told her he wrecked the car, but remains missing.
Police believe the car was crashed some time before their arrival. They noted the engine was already cold.
Further information was not immediately known.
