A woman was arrested Tuesday night for stabbing her ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend on a Nashville city bus.
Metro police said Leaddia Eubanks saw the couple get on the MTA bus at the downtown terminal at 10:20 p.m. and got on after them to pick a fight.
Once on the bus, Eubanks, 24, pulled out a knife and words were exchanged.
Eubanks’ ex-boyfriend, Clint Lanford, 22, tried to take the knife away from Eubanks and received lacerations to his shoulder and wrist.
Lanford’s current girlfriend, Nyamal Kuol, 19, received a laceration to her arm.
Both were treated at a local hospital and have since been released.
The driver stopped the bus quickly at 4th Avenue and Deaderick Street as a result of the commotion.
Eubanks was taken into custody at the scene. She was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and booked into the Metro jail on $30,000 bond.
Twenty-five to 30 people were on board the bus at the time. No other passengers were injured.
