With no glaring needs this year, the Titans have a lot more flexibility throughout the NFL Draft, especially on the defensive side of the ball where more players are now available since the Titans are switching to a 3-4 defense.

General Manager Ruston Webster acknowledged as much saying, “What we are going to do defensively probably opens up some things for us that we didn’t have in the past, it’s sometimes difficult to find a 4-3 end that can rush and play the run, those are few and far between, so this opens up maybe that guy that was a little undersized for the 4-3 that may be able to play in this defense.”

The NFL draft begins Thursday night from New York City.
