The Memphis Grizzlies could not pull of an encore performance from a year ago when they beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in game seven.
After leading by double digits in the first half, the Grizzlies lost the lead on a late Kevin Durant three pointer to put the Thunder up three at halftime.
Kevin Durant did not slow down in the second half, getting in 33 points en route to a 120-109 Oklahoma City win.
Russell Westbrook finished with a double-double 26 points, 16 assists and ten rebounds as the took revenge on the Grizzlies from last season.
Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with 24 points but Memphis had no chance without Zac Randolph.
