A man was arrested for selling fake parking tickets in downtown Nashville Thursday.

Police say an employee of Central Parking was able to take a picture of the suspect’s photo ID, identified as Danny Williams, before running him off.

According to an affidavit, Williams used his own driver’s license to create a fake Central Parking employee ID.

He is accused of then approaching customers and patrons to park in the lot.

Williams, 55, was charged with two counts of criminal simulation and criminal trespassing for being on the parking lot’s property.

He was booked into the Metro jail on $11,000 bond.

Information regarding which parking lot the scam took place has yet to be released.
