Vince Young is getting another shot in the NFL. The former Titans quarterback was signed by the Cleveland Browns Thursday after a tryout at the teams’ three-day mini-camp.
Young, 30, was the third pick in the 2006 draft, but was cut loose in Tennessee after five tumultuous seasons.
After leaving Tennessee, Young spent one season in Philadelphia and has spent the last two seasons out of the league.
Young was cut by the Bills and Packers in the preseason in 2012 and 2013.
The Browns also signed veteran Tyler Thigpen Thursday. Thigpen and Young are battling to backup Brian Hoyer.
