NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A vigil was held Tuesday night for a missing Nashville teen who was last seen 11 years ago.
Tabitha Tuders, 13, disappeared from her east Nashville home on April 29, 2003. She was last seen walking to her bus stop but never showed up to school.
“Our baby is still out there and we don’t know [any] more today than we did the days she [came] up missing,” mother Debra Tuders said. “We just want everybody to keep her in their prayers and hope that she’ll come home one day.”
Authorities said there have been some leads in the case over the years, but an arrest has never been made.
Tuder’s father, Bo, told News 2 he has heard there is new information in the case, but authorities have not yet released it to the family.
