A fire broke out at the old Emergency Management Services building in downtown Dickson early Thursday morning.
It happened around 6 a.m. in the 300 block of West End Avenue near the intersection of Laurel Avenue.
Officials told News 2 no one was inside at the time of the fire and no one was injured.
The roof collapsed and one wall crumbled. The building is considered a total loss.
Nearby residents reported the building was undergoing renovations. The front portion was being re-purposed into offices and the back as an emergency command center.
