Two men were arrested in Madison on Wednesday in yet another storage unit drug bust.

Lazaro Munoz, 43, and Richards Owens, 36, are each facing one count of possessing marijuana in a drug free school zone.

Police reported they received information a large quantity of marijuana was being delivered to a storage unit at the Devon facility at 1210 Gallatin Pike.

Just before 10 a.m., a white Ford F350 truck pulled up to the unit. According to an affidavit, Munoz and Owens exited the truck and entered the storage unit.

Officers then took both men into custody.

They say a large black bag containing four bricks of compressed marijuana was found inside the storage room. It weighed nearly 56 pounds.

Police also stated the storage unit was within 1,000 feet of Saint Joseph School, located just down the road at 1225 Gallatin Pike.

According to an affidavit, Owens allegedly admitted he helped transport the narcotics because he needed money.

Both men were booked into the Metro jail on $100,000 bond each.

On Monday, another Nashville man was arrested after authorities reportedly found cash and marijuana inside his car, home and west Nashville storage unit.
